Food was cold , tasteless and came more than 2 hours late, very disappointing

It took 4.5hours for the food to get to me and which I stay only around city center. The food arrived and it was not what I ordered, cold and extremely salty. Was very disappointed with their online service and I don’t recommend.

Really yummy food and plenty leftovers!

Waited an extra 15 mins to collect, which I didn't mind. I found the Githeri salad too salty. I enjoyed the peri chicken wings the best. Portion size was decent. Jollof rice was rather spicy but I enjoyed the heat. I don't think they saw my note about my cutlery request, good job i checked the contents at the premises as they also forgot my apple juice .

Soup was poor and delivery took almost 2hrs

Not only was the meal delivered 3hrs 30mins late they lied about when the food had been sent out and where it had got to both times we phoned to inquire. They simply didn't answer the phone on our third attempt to discover what was happening. When the food finally arrived it was cold. The only positive thing I could say was the food was good.

The food for overall tasty. I felt that the portion was too small (especially Jollof rice), delivery time took over an hour.

I never received my order and after over 2 hours of waiting and over 20 quid taken from my account not to mention how many timesnI tried to contact the restaurant including emails I sent as could not get anyone one the phone.very poor customer service and standards.i expect fill refund which I doubt I will get.I should have believed the reviews I read before I ordered and I should have kept away.I am so disappointed. I am housebound and local shops and restaurants ate closed due to Christmas and this restaurant has really put me in AN ever more depressed mood than I was before I ordered!! Hope other people stay clear and avoid this restaurant at all costs !!

Poor taste less food with poor service and courtesy

Good food, delivery was over 2 hours late. Some dishes were switched out for others without warning.

I ordered the mix grill and it tasted horrible.. I had to use my own seasoning so it could taste better.. Delivery was over 2hours late.. When I called the restaurant, the customer service representative was not professional at all.. He initially could not find my order and when he did, he went on to say the delay was from the kitchen and not because of the delivery driver and emphasised that this was a good thing.. I put my phone on mute and started laughing because what does that even mean?? A customer should be happy that the delay was caused by the staff in the kitchen.. I’ve always wanted to support Calabash but every order has been a disappointment.. I’m done

They took time to bring the food nearly 3hrs waiting for good very poor service

When we moved to Glasgow (from NYC), Calabash was the place that reassured us that we could find food that we were excited about. Ethiopian food in general is pretty great, and Calabash does a great job. Make sure you include dishes with injera (order from their website), which is sour and basically perfect for the stews. Kale, spinach, it's all good. Delivery takes typically close to 2 hours, so order early because it is WORTH IT.
